Our project delivery process
Finding the right location for wind and solar farms
Our work often begins with a thorough map screening to identify suitable locations for new wind farms, solar farms, and battery storage facilities. In this process, we exclude areas of high environmental or cultural value, those too close to housing, or those that conflict with roads, bodies of water, airports, other projects, or designated national interests.
We also carefully review municipal master plans to ensure that we develop projects in appropriate locations. When conditions look favourable, we reach out to landowners to explore lease agreements. At this stage, we also initiate early dialogue with local associations and other stakeholders who may be affected.
Once our initial feasibility studies are completed, we begin consultations with the municipality, the County Board and the surrounding community.
At times, municipalities may receive questions early on in the process. If you have any questions or are seeking information about a specific project, feel free to contact us directly.
More information about how we develop and build wind farms, solar farms, and battery storage facilities can be found under the respective sections.
