More local electricity from renewable energy

Municipalities often set ambitious goals to become fossil-free and to increase local electricity production from renewable energy. Many are highly engaged and view local energy production as an important – or even crucial – condition for the local business community. From 2025, municipalities will also receive significant revenue from property tax on wind power, which can be used to develop municipal services.

Municipalities and developers must work together and maintain an ongoing dialogue – for example, on local conditions and municipal master plans – to ensure more facilities are built in the right locations.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you would like to hear the business community’s perspective on renewable energy in your municipality.

When the municipality is the landowner

Sometimes we wish to contact the municipality in its role as a landowner. It may also be the case that the municipality, as a landowner, is seeking to connect with developers who can execute projects on municipal land.
