Battery energy storage systems leases

Explore the opportunity to lease your land for battery storage

Battery storage facilities can be built as standalone installations or primarily as complements to solar parks. The most important factor in determining a suitable site for battery storage is proximity to a grid connection point.

We are interested in leasing land areas close to or directly connected to the electricity grid to establish battery storage. The minimum required area is 2,000 square meters.

Lease period

Under optimal conditions, it takes approximately 24 months to develop a battery storage facility from the signing of the lease agreement. However, this timeline can be longer depending on the speed of grid connection and the permitting process.

The typical lease term for a battery storage facility is around 30 years.

Compensation

Lease payments for battery storage are based on the installed megawatt (MW) capacity. The lease is paid annually and indexed for inflation. The exact compensation depends on factors such as distance to the grid connection, construction costs, and project size.
