BayWa r.e. is planning 6 wind turbine generator Park with a total capacity of approximately 44 MW in the Hevosselkä area of Tervola municipality. Project is located 23 kilometers southeast of the centre of Tervola. The total height of the power plants does not exceed 250 meters. The Hevosselkä Park is in the final stages of project development, and wind measurements are planned to begin in 2025. The plan for the area has been approved.

Plans for connecting the park to the grid are being drawn up, and the intention is to agree on the grid connection in more detail during 2025. Commercial operations and production can begin in 2027 at the earliest.
