BayWa r.e. has been responsible for the design, development, procurement, management, finance, construction project management and sale of Lyngsåsa wind farm.

The wind farm is located about 12 kilometers west of Alvesta, southern Sweden. The wind farm consists of twentytwo wind turbines of the model Vestas V150 - 4.3 MW and is rated at a total of 94.6 MW. The plant is expected to produce 315,000 MWh per year, which is equivalent to the annual electricity consumption (heating excluded) of 63,000 residential houses.
