SwedenBayWa r.e. will build a new solar-power plant in the municipality of Mönsterås. The plant will be located next to an existing wind farm and will use the same connection to the electricity grid.
The wind farm was completed in 2018 and consists of four turbines. It has an installed capacity of 9.2 MW and produces approximately 21 GWh of renewable electricity annually.
The new solar-power plant is expected to supplement the output of the existing wind farm with an additional 16 GWh of renewable electricity annually.
