Management
David joined BayWa r.e. in 2022. He has a Master's degree in Accounting from Lund University and has worked in the wind power industry since 2009 with focus on finance, leadership and corporate strategy.
David was previously responsible for the Finance Department and its activities in the Nordic, focusing on financial planning and analysis. Since 1 January 2025, David is the CEO of the Nordics.
Administration
Mia joined BayWa r.e. in 2022 as Office Manager. Earlier in her career, Mia has worked with Office and HR management at an e-commerce company at which she was also the Customer Service Manager for the Nordic department.
Since January 2024 Mia has a new role at BayWa r.e. as an Executive Assistant and HR Business Partner.
Some of the tasks are calendar management and travel arrangements for the Managing Director, organisation of employee events and supporting HR with various task such as Onboarding, recruitment and updating policies etc.
Linda has been with BayWa r.e. since 2023. She previously served as Head of Communications for the City of Stockholm, with a focus on real estate and urban development projects. Linda has extensive experience in developing communication strategies for complex projects, managing media relations, and working with local public opinion. Earlier in her career, she worked with public affairs, advocacy, and policy influence.
As the company’s sole Head of Communications and a member of the management team, Linda’s role is to support the business through strategic communication, political engagement, stakeholder dialogue, and external positioning across all phases of project development.
Laura joined BayWa r.e. in 2020 as Team Assistant of the business entity Wind (based in Munich) and now works as Office Manager in the Malmö office since 2024. She completed a 3-year apprenticeship as “Service Professional in Aviation” at Lufthansa and worked in different industries in Italy and Germany.
At BayWa r.e., Laura is responsible for the office organization and supports the team in administrative tasks.
Finance
Andreas joined BayWa r.e. in 2020 as a financial controller. He graduated from Lund University with a degree in business administration and a master's in management accounting. At BayWa r.e., Andreas is in charge of project controlling, reporting and budgeting.
Caroline joined BayWa r.e. from E.ON in 2015 and now works as a controller. She graduated from Luleå University of Technology with a degree in business and economics, majoring in business administration.
Her years of finance experience have seen her engaged in planning and forecasting, group reporting and construction project controlling. Currently, Caroline is also involved in the implementation of a new FiCo tool.
Gulten started at BayWa Nordic r.e. in August 2022 as Accounting Manager. She has 20 years of experience in finance, payroll and different ERP systems. Gulten will be responsible for BayWa r.e. Nordic Group's finance accounting, period end close and declarations. Currently, Gulten is also involved in the implementation of a new FiCo tool.
Blerta started working at BayWa r.e. in August 2023 as a Financial Controller. She has an Economics degree specializing in International Business and Marketing from Kristianstad University.
At BayWa r.e., Blerta works with reporting and budgeting (among other things).
Project Development
Gabriella joined BayWa r.e in June 2023. She holds a Master of Science in physics, specialized in meteorology, from Uppsala University and started in the wind power industry as a wind analyst in 2011. Since then, Gabriella has worked as a consultant handling most phases of a wind power project; from screening and permit to procurement and construction, and as Team Manager.
At BayWa r.e, Gabriella is responsible for wind power project development with a special focus on evaluation of new projects.
Daniel joined BayWa r.e. in 2022 as a solar site securing manager. Daniel graduated from Linné University with a degree in chemical engineering, in addition he studied environmental chemistry courses at Stockholm University. At BayWa r.e., Daniel is working with ground mounted solar projects. One major task is to assess new solar projects.
Peter joined BayWa r.e. in 2018 as a property development manager. He holds an engineering degree in injection molding from Kristianstad University, with further academic experience in law and economics.He has worked in the wind power industry since 2006, at one point as assistant country manager for a big industry player.
At BayWa r.e., his main tasks include pre-studies, land lease agreements, screenings and environmental impact assesments.
Anna joined BayWa r.e. in 2022 as a Environmental Permit & Design Manager. She has a Bachelor degree in Environmental social science from Södertörns Högskola and has worked in the environmental field since 2010. Since 2016 she has worked with environmental impact assessments for detail plans, as well as an environmental strategist in detail plans at councils around Stockholm.
At BayWa r.e., Anna is responsible for the permit and the design processes in projects.
Johan joined BayWa r.e. in 2022 as a Wind Resource Analyst. He holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lund university, having focused on energy technologies during his master's. Johan’s day-to-day work includes various wind and site evaluations within the project development team.
Prior to joining BayWa r.e. Johan worked for 10 years with a turbine manufacturer as Wind and Site engineer responsible for Energy Yield and Site Suitability evaluations.
Meynard joined BayWa r.e. in 2022 as a site securing manager. He has a background in forestry management, the military and construction. The last couple of years he has worked with land leases in the scope of the development of renewable energy projects, a task he will continue with at BayWa r.e.
Sadzida has been working with environmental code legislation and project management since 2017. Her superpowers are ability to develop, be a problem solver and lead structured work. Att BayWa r.e., Sadzida supports the development of wind projects from greenfield projects to construction.
Saga is a new addition to BayWa r.e. since June of 2023 and part of the project development team. She has a bachelor’s degree in urban planning from Lund university with a major in sociology and has previously worked with regional development in the public sector.
At BayWa r.e, Saga works mainly with GIS and the development of new wind- and solar projects.
Hasse joined BayWa r.e. Nordic in 2023, as a Senior Environmental Specialist. Hasse has a Masters in Evolutionary Ecology from Stockholm University, and has worked mainly with issues concerning Biological Diversity and land-use for several decades.
He has been working on local, regional, national as well as international level with conservation and management of ecosystem services, and has extensive experience of working for NGO’s and private companies.
Ellen started at BayWa r.e. in June 2023 as a Project Coordinator. Ellen has a Master's degree in Environmental Science (with a focus on sustainable energy systems and environmental management) from Lund University.
At BayWa r.e., she works with map visualization, including QGIS and PV design, producing map data for the organization, and supporting the wind and solar project development team.
Maria joined BayWa r.e. in autumn 2023 as a Senior Project Manager in the wind power development. After graduating from International Business programme from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences she started working in the wind farm development in 2012.
During her long career in the wind power sector Maria has been leading projects through Master Planning, EIA and Building Permitting and has been supporting the projects all the way to operational wind farms. At BayWa r.e. Maria will continue developing and managing wind farm projects.
Martin is an ecologist trained at Lund University with extensive experience working for the state as an investigator and manager. He has worked with environmental, land use, energy, and climate issues in various senior positions at the Swedish Agricultural Agency. Between 2017 and 2023, Martin worked at the County Board in Kronoberg County, first as Head of the Environmental Department (environmental protection, nature, water, energy, and climate) and then as an Advisor to Governor Maria Arnholm (coordination, business, energy, forests, etc.).
Martin's greatest expertise is in nature conservation and species knowledge, having observed almost 10,000 species in Sweden.
Martin's work at BayWa r.e. is varied, being based on his skills as needs arise. However, it primarily concerns permit and environmental issues.
Björn started working at BayWa r.e. in 2024 as a Senior Project Developer.
He has a degree in Biology and the Environment from Uppsala University and has worked in wind power development since 2009, the last 12 years of which was at WPD.
At BayWa r.e. Björn works with finding new projects and writing permit documents - primarily for wind power, but also for solar power.
Kamila joined BayWa r.e in 2024 as Site Securing Manager. She has a background in land surveying and real estate law issues. She has worked both in the construction industry and with the development of wind and solar power projects.
At BayWa r.e., Kamila works with lease agreements, landowner contact and early development of our projects.
Mona joined BayWa r.e. in May 2025. She is an environmental engineer with a master's degree in Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Infrastructure from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH). Mona has worked in the wind power development business since 2020 with a focus on permit related questions. At BayWa r.e. Mona works as a project manager with the development of wind projects from greenfield projects to construction.
Antti joined BayWa r.e. in 2025 with over 7 years of experience in working as a project development manager in real estate and renewable energy projects. At BayWa r.e. Antti will continue developing and managing wind, solar and bess projects from greenfield to construction in Finland.
Marko joined BayWa r.e. in August 2025 as an EPC Manager in Finland. He brings over 15 years of experience in the energy sector, having held diverse roles across renewable energy, substation, and grid-related projects. Marko will primarily focus on renewable energy projects in Finland.
EPC & Business Development Team
Thomas joined HS Kraft in 2006 (since 2014 a part of BayWa r.e.) and has held several positions within the company since then. He graduated from Lund University with a degree in engineering, majoring in physical planning and quality management systems.
At BayWa r.e., Thomas is the head of the EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) and project management departments, as well as an SPV board member.
Tony joined BayWa r.e. in 2022 as Site Manager for the construction of wind farms. Leading up to his entry into the sector for renewable energy in 2018, he has worked 10 years as an inspector in the oil and gas industry and he has also worked as a project manager in property development.
At BayWa r.e., Tony is part of the EPC team and is involved in the entire process from civil works to the erection and installation of the turbines.
Anton joined BayWa r.e. in 2022 as a Construction Project Manager within the EPC group. He has a B.Sc. from the University of Plymouth, UK and has studied both sustainability and energy technology. Anton has previously worked as a Project Manager for several companies within renewables, energy optimization and fiber optics within a span of over 10 years.
Anton will help with procurement processes for BoP and suppliers, setting and maintaining budgets, and project management of the construction of on-shore wind farms in the Nordics.
Richard joined BayWa r.e. in July 2020 as a business analyst. He holds a degree in electrical engineering from Makerere University, and another in energy and environmental engineering/management from Flensburg University. Richard's experience covers everything from operations and maintenance to business advisory duties.
At BayWa r.e., his role involves evaluating business cases for renewable energy projects and applications.
Prashant is a Grid Engineer at BayWa r.e., joining in 2023. He holds an MSc. in Sustainable Energy Engineering from Lund University, with specialization in future energy technologies and power systems. Previously, he worked on hydropower projects in Nepal as an electrical engineer.
At BayWa r.e., Prashant handles grid connections and supports technical as well as economic analysis for renewable energy projects.
Legal Team
Elin joined BayWa r.e. in 2020 as legal counsel. With a business law background, she has worked for over ten years with managing wind farm transactions and financings and all legal questions relating thereto. As head of legal for the BayWa r.e Sweden, she is responsible for negotiating project and business-related agreements, as well as maintaining documentation.
Tim joined BayWa r.e. in 2021 as a legal counsel focusing on real estate. Before joining BayWa r.e., he worked with a Swedish law firm for a number of years. At BayWa r.e., Tim’s day-to-day work includes handling legal land matters such as lease and road agreements.
Services Team
In 2008, Christian joined HS Kraft, which was later acquired by BayWa r.e. Before this, he worked in data communication for many years, first as a technician and later in project management and sales. He started out as a construction manager when he entered the wind power industry, responsible for wind farms in the south of Sweden.
Since 2012, he is responsible for the asset management of all wind farms in the BayWa r.e. portfolio in Sweden.
Fredric joined BayWa r.e. as an Operations Manager in January 2024.
He has an officer's education and has graduated from various training courses in operation and maintenance. Fredric has worked with wind power since 2011 and solar power since 2016, both as a self-employed freelancer and in official roles such as Manager, Engineer, Project Manager, and Asset Manager.
At BayWa r.e., Fredric will work with the day-to-day operations as well as being responsible for the management of solar farms and certain wind farms in the BayWa r.e. portfolio.
Tove joined BayWA r.e in 2025 as a Technical Operation Engineer. During 2025 she will graduate from Campus Varberg as an energy technician with a specialization in wind power. She has a bachelor’s degree in economics and has been working with purchase and production coordination for 15 years. Tove will join the operations team and be a part of managing the wind farms in Sweden.
Kristian started as Operations Manager at BayWa r.e. in June 2025. He studied Energy Technician with a focus on wind power at Campus Varberg and has worked with wind power management since 2016. At BayWa r.e., Kristian will work with the daily operations and be responsible for the management of wind farms in the BayWa r.e. portfolio.
Grid
Chaitanya joined BayWa r.e. in 2024 as a Grid Manager, bringing with him a of experience in the grid and renewable energy sector. He holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Lund University and has been actively engaged in the industry since 2011.
At BayWa r.e., Chaitanya is responsible for overseeing all grid-related aspects, from development and construction to commissioning.
