A flexible, modular accumulator system
The three-phase Symo Hybrid inverter forms the heart of Fronius' new modular accumulator solution. Available in power classes from 3.4 to 5.0 kW, the inverter can be used as a standard PV inverter or expanded to incorporate battery and backup power functions. This is also possible as a retrofit. The efficient Fronius accumulator system consists of an inverter, the Fronius Solar Battery and the Fronius Smart Meter. It can be coupled to the AC or DC side, meaning it can be used in both a new installation and in an expansion incorporating an accumulator or additional PV generator.
The high-performance Fronius Solar Battery uses lithium iron phosphate, one of the safest accumulator technologies on the market that requires no special ventilation in the installation area. The DC-coupled accumulator is extremely efficient. Up to eight accumulator modules can be connected in the battery rack. The nominal capacity can therefore be increased in increments of 1.5 kW from 4.5 to 12.0 kW.
The Fronius Smart Meter records all important data illustrated on the Fronius Solar.web online portal. By communicating with the inverter, the Smart Meter also ensures optimum energy flow.
